Wildly Black is a sustainable fashion brand revolutionizing the bodysuit using plant-based and recyclable materials.
Rooted in a childhood passion for fashion, Siham, the founder of Wildly Black, asked me to support the brand's big launch in 2023. Their sustainable bodysuits use Modal (made of wood) and Tencel (made of cotton) fabrics to create a soft, flexible, yet recyclable article of clothing. To prepare for the big launch, they tapped me to create:
A 3-month go-to-market content strategy for Instagram
Coordinate a brand new photoshoot
An Instagram feed look-and-feel mockup
Pre-launch content that would prepare their social media audience to buy when the brand launched in fall 2023
The first step in the project was to have the founder fill out a content strategy questionnaire. This gave me background on the brand, its vision for the future, its competitors, and what makes them different. From there, two strategy calls were conducted to ensure the messaging, voice, and tone of the brand were factored into the content strategy. Next, was the photoshoot. I worked with local photography and content creation studio, Lee Creative Co. to coordinate a brand photoshoot showcasing the bodysuits in a whole new light. Next, Lee Creative Co. edited the photographs, created Instagram graphics, and built the Instagram look-and-feel mockup for the brand. The final step was to use the questionnaire and the brand assets to create a 3-month content strategy plan. The goal was to address potential customer curiosities about the brand's materials, sustainability stance, production process, and ethos and then them warm up for the fall 2023 launch.
