SENTIENT is a handbag and accessories brand built to replace animal leather products with bio-based vegan leather alternatives.

Project Goals

After knowing the founder for nearly two years, Jimena Suárez Ibarrola reached out to me to help revamp SENTIENT's website copy. After rebranding and launching brand new sustainable fashion products, she felt the brand needed a face lift on the copy front. Within two months, SENTIENT was reborn.

The first step in the process was to have the founder fill out my signature Web Copy Questionnaire. After providing thoughtful answers, we jumped on a strategy call to layout the website copy goals, pages to refresh, voice, tone, and messaging. Next, I ran off into my copy den and worked diligently on the homepage, About, and Values pages. I, then, share this work with Jimena and conducted two revisions. We did our final revisions together and once the copy was approved, we uploaded it onto the site. After the copy was complete, we worked on SEO. I conducted keyword research, and a competitive analysis, then I rewrote the title tags and meta descriptions. The result was a total refresh on the brand's website and SEO to drive traffic and purchases for years to come.
