Luxury fashion photographer turned environmentalist, Conor Clinch, had a vision to launch his first solo, non-commercial exhibition in Paris. Motivated by climate change and the ongoing degradation of the world's oceans, Conor partnered with the Natural History Museum in London to showcase a rare collection of endangered mollusks in this never-before-seen photography exhibit. Conor tapped me to write a press release for his exhibition with the goals of:
Driving attendance to the exhibition space in Paris
Earning strategic placements in publications
Spreading the word about his environmental photography endeavors
Raising enough funds at the exhibit to donate to an ocean conservation organization
The first step in the project was to jump on a call with Conor and get the basic information about the event. After he explained the purpose of the exhibit, partnerships, and goals, I went to work on his press release. Within 72 hours, the press release was complete with full credits for production partners. Two revisions later, Conor was delighted and distributed the press release to his network. We successfully placed in two international publications. The event was a massive success with hundreds of people attending the exhibition throughout the weekend.
